First understand the following issues need to pay attention to the watch calendar
Some calendar institutions have calendars forbidden areas, so do not hurry to adjust the calendar during the calendar work hours. Calendar work hours are usually from 7:00 PM to 12:00 PM, which means that the calendar (weekly calendar) is completed.
Some calendar institutions are calibrated by pressing the buttons on the case. When you press the button, the calendar changes one number. The other way is to adjust the calendar by pulling and pushing the table handle. No matter what the form is, it should not be the calendar agency will work to adjust the calendar within the working hours.
The number of replacements for some of the weekly calendars is about several hours behind the replacement number for calendars, especially those made in Japan. The adjustment of the dual calendar watch is generally based on the rotation direction of the crown to determine whether to adjust the calendar or adjust the week calendar.
If some calendar institutions reversed the needle and the calendar dials were back to their original numbers, they could only adjust the calendar clockwise. A large amount of long-term allocation will have a certain effect on the teeth of the watch, which will aggravate the wear of the parts. Therefore, the movement of the needle must be gentle.
There are two general situations in which the calendar of the watch needs to be adjusted:
1, the watch appears change calendar at noon
2. The date of the watch's calendar instruction is incorrect (including the size of the month, the replacement of the new moon)
So how should we adjust?
We know that the calendar device of the watch only beats once in 24 hours a day. However, the hour hand of the watch is rotated twice. In the first case, the watch will change the calendar at 12 o'clock noon, and the correction is very simple. You just need to turn the watch hour hand clockwise. In the second case, there are two ways to correct it. Normally a watch with a calendar (including a weekly calendar) function has three gears for the watch. When the watch is pushed completely, it is also called "normal." Gear position, this time the watch can only be clocked by rotating the watch; when the watch is pulled out completely, the watch can be dialed in the opposite direction, in the “normal position” and in the fully pulled out position. There is also a stall, which is used to quickly adjust the calendar. You need to slowly and carefully place the crown in this gear, and turn the crown to accurately correct the calendar dial. Old-fashioned watches generally do not have this fast-tuning feature, so they can only be calibrated by turning the clock. The method of lazyness is that when the calendar is dialed, the counterclockwise hand is returned to the 7 o'clock position, and then the clockwise position is dialled to the 12 o'clock jump calendar position. This eliminates the constant clockwise dialing.
