On December 4-5, 2018, the fourth meeting of the China-Sweden Economic and Trade Joint Commission Working Group on Watch and Clock was held in Shenzhen, Guangdong Province. Representatives from Swiss Federal Ministry of Economics, Education and Research, Swiss Watch Industry Federation, Swiss Embassy in China and Swiss watchmaking companies, as well as from the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the Ministry of Commerce, China Watch Association, China Business Enterprise Management Association Chinese representatives of the Watch Business Enterprise Management Committee, the Shenzhen Watch Industry Association, the National Watch Quality Supervision and Inspection Center, the China Electronics Reliability and Environmental Testing Institute and the domestic watch and clock enterprises participated in the meeting.
In accordance with the spirit of the Memorandum of Understanding on the Establishment of a Working Group on the Cooperation of Watch and Clock under the Framework of the Sino-Swiss Economic and Trade Joint Commission, the representatives of China and Sweden conducted separate issues on the policy of watchmaking, intellectual property protection, testing and appraisal, and after-sales service. Full communication and discussion, and identified the next phase of work to promote implementation. After the meeting, the representatives of the two sides visited the watch production enterprise in Shenzhen.
